This website is operated by Waste Cloud Ltd, registered in Scotland (SC757455). We are the data controller for personal information collected through CarBatteryDisposal.com.
What we collect
When you request a quote we collect your name, contact details, collection address and details of the waste. Our web server and analytics record your IP address, browser and the pages you visit.
How we use it
To respond to your enquiry, arrange collections, issue paperwork and invoices, and meet our legal obligations as a waste broker. Collection details are shared with the licensed carrier and treatment facility fulfilling your job. We don’t sell your data.
Retention
Waste transfer and consignment records are kept for at least three years as required by law. Enquiry data that doesn’t lead to a booking is deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it, by emailing the address in the footer. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
